Observed Holidays
Lextran is pleased to announce service on CHRISTMAS DAY in 2011 and New Year's Day in 2012! The following routes will operate on a limited basis on Sunday, December 25th and Sunday, January 1, 2012. Click the appropriate route for a schedule and map:
- Route 1 Woodhill/11 Richmond Road Combo
- Route 2 Georgetown/12 Leestown Combo
- Route 3 Tates Creek Road
- Route 5 Nicholasville Road
- Route 6 North Broadway/4 Newtown Pike Combo
- Route 8 Versailles Road/13 South Broadway Combo
- Route 9 Eastland/7 North Limestone Combo
- Route 10 Hamburg Pavilion
Route adjustments are possible on other holidays. Please check the website and watch for announcements on buses and at the Transit Center.
Other Holiday Service Changes-Effective May 2012
- Lextran currently operates on a Saturday schedule on the following holidays: Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day.
- Effective Memorial Day 2012, service will follow a Sunday schedule for Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day.
