Commonwealth to Keeneland Shuttle on October 12th

On Saturday, October 12th - when UK takes on Alabama - Lextran will offer multiple ways for you to see your favorite horse at Keeneland and get to your favorite tailgating spot at Commonwealth Stadium!

In the morning, Lextran will offer shuttle service between Commonwealth Stadium and Keeneland Race Course, to accomodate fans attending both sporting events!

Here's what you do:

Park your car early in your designated parking area at Commonwealth Stadium, and take the Lextran shuttle bus to Keeneland. Fare is just $1 each way. Bus drivers are unable to give change. The pick-up spot is shown below. All parking areas will be on patrol so be sure you park in the correct location.


Enjoy a great day of racing, then take the bus back to Commonwealth for the UK-Alabama matchup at 7 p.m.

It's a full day of two of your favorite sports with easy, convenient transportation to each.  The fare for the Keeneland-Spring Game Shuttle is $1 each way.

*After 4:30 p.m., due to one-way inbound traffic flow, guests shuttling from Keeneland to CWS will be dropped off on Cooper Drive just west of University Drive.

The shuttle is from Commonwealth Stadium, to Keeneland, and back to Commonwealth Stadium. There is no post-game service to Keeneland, so be sure to plan your trips accordingly!

The game starts at 7 p.m., so the downtown football shuttle will start at 4 p.m. with the first departure from the Shops at Lexington Center on Vine Street. From there, the bus will stop at the Transit Center, Ramsey's at High & Woodland, and travel to the stadium drop-off point. Shuttle service will end 30 minutes after kick-off, and resume at the start of the 4th quarter. Roundtrip tickets for the downtown football shuttle are $5 each. One-way fare is $2.50.
